• PI of an OIV-funded project on integrative metabolomics, physiology, UAV thermal phenotyping, and predictive modeling in Vitis vinifera under elevated temperature.
• Coordinator of BIOINNOVATE Africa work on small-scale community biorefining of sorghum for food, sugar, and biomaterials in rainfed areas of Eastern Africa.
• Co-PI on climate-smart interventions for smallholder farmers in Ethiopia in collaboration with the University of Queensland and regional research institutes.
• Component focal person for the MERCI crop improvement initiative with the University of Queensland and regional research institutes.
